News at the premiere of Lucas' new series, Palm Royale, on Thursday, Brianna Ruffalo revealed that she has a surprising take on her partner's 2002 romantic comedy, Sweet Home Alabama, costarring Reese Witherspoon and Patrick Dempsey.

Asked how often she makes Lucas, 52, rewatch the movie, the ABC7 Los Angeles meteorologist said they don't watch it often, before revealing the surprising reason why.

"I'm team Patrick Dempsey," Ruffalo explained.
