Githu Muigai, SC, C. Arb is an esteemed litigator, a proficient as well as highly regarded Arbitrator based in Nairobi and the Founding and Senior Partner of Mohammed Muigai LLP. He holds an LLB and a PhD from the University of Nairobi, an LLM from the Colombia University Law School and a Diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law and was admitted to the Kenyan Bar in 1985 and conferred the rank of Senior Counsel by the President of the Republic of Kenya in 2013.
He was the 6th Attorney General of the Republic of Kenya serving under two (2) Presidents from 2011 to 2018.
Prof. Githu Muigai SC has very broad international and domestic experience at dispute resolution having represented Kenya as the Attorney General before the International Criminal Court at the Hague.
